GET TO KNOW VIP HOST ERIC CHINE, IN THE RARE CASE THAT YOU HAVEN’T MET HIM, YET.

XS’ Eric Chine is about to add a new club to his roster: Intrigue at the Wynn. The new nightlife establishment will open on April 28 and will take the place in the Wynn Resorts’ nightlife family of the late, great Tryst Nightclub. Chine began working for XS/Tryst back in February of 2011 as a promotions host and eventually made his way up to a VIP host position. To do so, he says he, “pretty much worked my butt off. Every day I was on the Strip building guestlist, and every night after work I would visit other clubs and meet the promoters and hosts and just get myself recognized. I had a goal to make sure everyone in the industry would know who I am.” And if you don’t know him by now, here’s your chance:

How you move from there into your current position?

Pretty much worked my butt off every day I was on the strip building guestlist and every night after work I would visit other clubs and meet the promoters and hosts and just get myself recognized. I had a goal to make sure everyone in the industry would know who I am.

Where are your favorite tourist destinations near the Strip?

Chicago Joes Italian Restaurant downtown. The food is amazing and the place only has about 10-12 tables. It’s such a unique and delicious place to have dinner.

What do you suggest for a Vegas newbie to go see on their first trip to the Strip?

I always recommend seeing a show of some sort. The Cirque shows here are absolutely amazing. MJ One is amazing and Absinthe is one of my current favorites. It has everything you want packed into one show!

Where are the best pregame spots to go to before the club?

I really like Clique cocktail lounge located in Cosmopolitan Hotel. The vibe is always good and drinks are unique and delicious.
